Remanufacturing for professionals

EU subsidy - Turbo-Tec Sp. z o.o.

Turbo-Tec Sp. z o.o. obtained a grant from the European Union for the project "Implementation of an innovative technology for the repair of components included in remanufactured automotive parts"..

The main objective of the project is to implement, as part of R&D work, an innovative technology for the repair of components of remanufactured automotive parts, which allows the company to
Turbo-Tec to launch a new range of products, so-called eco-products. These are automotive parts made up of reused and remanufactured components, which bring a number of benefits, such as reducing repair costs and improving the availability of spare parts. They also have a positive impact on the environment by reducing waste and scrap. The technology will enable the company to offer competitively priced products, while maintaining high quality and reliability comparable to brand new parts. The repair technology being implemented has been developed as a result of research and development work carried out between 2018 and 2023. In addition, as a result of the project, the company is increasing its workforce with plans to take on six new employees.

The project's target group is customers who need remanufactured car parts, especially individuals and companies looking for more economical and environmentally friendly solutions. The project is also aimed at service companies who can benefit from the technology offered by Turbo-Tec, as well as those who find it difficult to access new spare parts on a daily basis. Thanks to the technology implemented, these customers will be able to use cheaper and more readily available replacements that are just as reliable as new parts.

As part of the grant obtained, Turbo-Tec is expanding the plant, which will make the project possible. In the period from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2025, the infrastructure expansion will be implemented and in 2026 purchases will be made:

  1. Automotive component remanufacturing machines - specialised equipment that will enable the repair and remanufacturing of worn-out automotive components that were previously replaced with new ones.
  2. Production tools - necessary for the remanufacturing process and the assembly of repaired parts.
  3. Testing machines - equipment used for in-depth technical evaluation and quality testing of remanufactured parts so that they can meet technical and quality requirements.
